Privacy Policy
Ostatnia aktualizacja: 2026-07-08
This policy explains what data dreammeanings.pro (“Dream Meanings”) collects, for what purpose and on what basis, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Profivo, a company registered in the Polish Register of Entrepreneurs (KRS) under no. 0001181942, REGON 542154491, address: ul. Paprotna 8B/14, 51-117 Wrocław, Poland (EU), contact: kontakt@profivo.pl. Because the operator is established in the EU, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies.
2. What data we collect
When you use the Site, we may process:
- technical data recorded automatically: IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, date and time of your visit, and the pages you view;
- information from cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4);
- data you provide yourself, such as the content of an email you send to our contact address, or a dream you describe through the “didn't find your dream?” form (and an optional email address if you choose to leave one);
- in the future, once paid features launch: the data needed to provide the service and handle billing (subject to separate notice).
3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- providing, maintaining, and securing the Site — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest);
- analytics and improving content — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and where cookie consent is required, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- displaying ads, including personalized ads, through partners — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent in the cookie banner);
- handling correspondence — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- paid services (in the future) — Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR (contract and legal obligations, e.g. tax).
4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. We group them into:
- essential — required for the Site to work and to remember your settings (e.g. light/dark mode); these don't require consent;
- analytics — help us understand how you use the Site;
- advertising — allow us to show ads, including ads tailored to you.
We use analytics and advertising cookies based on your consent, which you can give or withdraw in the consent banner shown on the Site and in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
5. Advertising and third-party partners
The Site may use ad networks, including Google (e.g. Google AdSense). These partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits. How Google processes data is described in Google's policy. You can change your Google ad settings at Google Ad Settings.
6. Data recipients
Data may be entrusted to parties that help us run the Site: hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel), analytics and advertising providers, and — in the future — a payment processor. These parties process data only in line with our instructions or their own privacy policies.
7. International data transfers
Some partners (e.g. Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. This takes place under mechanisms that ensure an adequate level of protection, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Retention period
We keep technical and cookie data for the period set by each cookie or until you withdraw consent. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle it. Data related to paid services is kept for the period required by law (e.g. tax rules).
9. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- rectify (correct) your data;
- erase your data;
- restrict processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for the EU operator, the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
To exercise these rights, email kontakt@profivo.pl.
10. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. We do use advertising cookies (see Section 5) only with your consent; you can withdraw that consent at any time in the cookie banner, which serves as your “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control. To make a California privacy request, email kontakt@profivo.pl.
11. Children
The Site is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the law or the scope of the service changes. The current version is always available on this page. See also our Terms of Service.
