How to calculate your Life Path Number by hand
The math is simple. Take your birth date and reduce each part — the month, the day, and the year — down to a single digit, then add those together and reduce once more. For example, someone born on June 14, 1990: the month is 6, the day 14 becomes 1 + 4 = 5, and the year 1990 becomes 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 19 → 1 + 9 = 10 → 1. Add them: 6 + 5 + 1 = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3.
There's one exception: the master numbers 11, 22, and 33. If any step lands on one of these, you keep it rather than reducing it further, because master numbers carry their own heightened meaning.
